Prepared Food Share
This share works best for:
· People who want to eat local, fresh, healthy food, but whose time is limited in the kitchen.
· People who desire to follow a clean whole-foods diet for health reasons, but may not have the energy to cook.

Meet the Farm Fresh Team
Emily Cothran
As changes happen here on the farm so do the opportunities that we can offer others who are interested in supporting local food systems. We are so thankful to the support that Emily Aldridge has given our farm over the past year. Emily helps us harvest and donate produce to HOTEL INC, occasionally assists us at our market booth and is currently helping us offer additional prepared foods for our CSA. Every Monday evening we follow a day of work with a delicious meal and we're thankful to Emily who has come out and shared her cooking knowledge with us.
"Need More Acres Farm has been a blessing and an outlet for me as I navigate my “9-5” job and explore opportunities to work and serve in local food. This summer I am working for them on a project to can, prepare, and preserve the harvests from the farm, combining my love of old-fashioned food preservation with my love for local food. Already an exciting partnership, I eagerly anticipate where the project may lead as we work to bring more local healthy food to more people in south central Kentucky." Emily Aldridge |

"Food has always been about more than just nourishment to me. It's about getting families together in the kitchen, making memories, and sharing sacred time together over good food. I know in this fast-paced world we live in, it's not always easy to get food prepared and at the table. I'm excited about my new part in Farm Fresh because I'm hoping by having fresh, easy, ready to go food for families to pick up, we will be able to make it one step easier for them to connect with one another in the kitchen. I'm so passionate about this new adventure and about getting local food in the hands of my community and thankful for the wonderful opportunity to make it a reality. Let us cook for you!"
