How to Feed Your Family Well

We welcome Maureen Diaz to teach us all the basics for preparing wholesome, delicious foods on August 4th at The Foundry.  Maureen will be offering this class for Bowling Green families at a very reduced rate of $25- Includes lunch and all materials.

Farm School for Kids

Join us for an hour of interactive play, healthy snacks and having fun on our small farm in Bowling Green, KY!
Farm School will be intended for toddlers through early elementary aged children. Parents are welcome to experience the farm with their children or join a round table discussion about local food indoors.

Children will meet the chickens, harvest a vegetable, make a healthy snack, and engage all of their senses while on the farm.


Cost is $5 per child ($10 max per family)

"Nutrition for Healthy Families"

Maureen Diaz will be teaching an informative class on the nuts and bolts of understanding food, nutrition and health.  This class is intended for those interested in making healthy, long term changes to the way they buy, grow, prepare and eat food.  This class will teach the practical knowledge needed to understand the importance of the foods we eat.  For those looking for hands on experience putting this knowledge to work we encourage you to consider taking the day long workshop "How to Feed Your Family Well" the following day at The Foundry.

Location: WKU ALIVE Center
Date/Time:  August 3rd 6-9 pm
Cost:  Suggested donation of $5

Maureen Diaz is a homeschooling mother of 9, a Weston A Price chapter leader, and a Liberation Wellness Nutritionist. When not busy with homemaking she enjoys gardening, being outdoors, and creating beautiful things with her hands. We are thrilled to be hosting Maureen Diaz as she hosts a full day course teaching families how to feed themselves well. 

This course will cover:
Sourdough/Artisinal Breads
Breakfast Foods
Cultured (raw) Dairy
Fermenting Fruits and Vegetables
Making Condiments
Beverages
Bone Broth & Broth Based Soups

Location: The Foundry Christian Development Center 
Date/Time:  August 4th 10-4
Cost:  Reduced cost of $25  (includes all materials and lunch)
